After much deliberation and much research conducted from the front row stalls in dozen different theaters, and convenient tables at some suitable cabarets, the entire staff have come to the unanimous conclusion that our education has been sadly misdirected, and that it was a fairy godmother wrapped up in that serpent's skin and not Old Nick in person.

５つの文。こちらも長くてややこしい。

まず冒頭の「After much deliberation」、「deliberation」を辞書で引いみるとそのまんまが例文として出ており「長く熟考の後」という意味とのこと。ありふれた言い回しなのだろうか？

続く「much research conducted from the front row stalls in dozen different theaters, and convenient tables at some suitable cabarets」、「conducted」は「〜を進めた」なので「much research conducted」で「多くの研究を進めた」、「the front row stalls in dozen different theaters」は「1ダースもの異なる劇場の最前列の席」、「stall」はイギリス英語で劇場などの「1階正面席」を指すとのこと。「front row」も「最前列」の意味だから「頭痛が痛い」的な表現に思えるけど英語的にはOKなんだろうか？ 「convenient tables at some suitable cabarets」は「いくつかの適切なキャバレーでの便利なテーブル」という意味になるけどちょっと意味不明気味。「suitable」は「適切な」という意味。とりあえずここまで、「After much deliberation and much research conducted from the front row stalls in dozen different theaters, and convenient tables at some suitable cabarets」を読んでみると、「長い熟考の後、1ダースもの劇場の最前列の席と、相応しいキャバレーの便利なテーブルから多くの研究を進めた。」といったところだろうか？ しかし便利なテーブルってのは何だろう？
